A Breton house, the sea in front

A 1930s house renovated from top to bottom on three floors, at the end of the left bank of Doëlan harbour.

Our idea

A house for living outdoors as much as indoors

We wanted a beautiful house that kept its simplicity. A house where you taste local produce, laze in the sun in the garden, look at the sea over your morning coffee, and set off for a run along the coastal path.

Inès, our elder daughter, had just been born, so we designed it for our girls and for families, with modern comforts and everything for the very young. It comfortably sleeps two families, with separate spaces so each keeps its privacy.

Two bedrooms on the garden side

The South and West bedrooms open onto a terrace and the garden. They share a shower room with a large walk-in shower; the toilet is separate.

Cool in summer, sheltered in winter: the ideal floor for grandparents or a second family.

First floor

The living space and the big terrace

You arrive on a wide landing, with a toilet and a made-to-measure cupboard for the whole family's baskets, beach towels, raincoats and wellies.

Then the living space: a very well equipped kitchen, a large table, the sitting room with TV, Apple TV and Bluetooth speaker, a small balcony and a large terrace with barbecue, facing the sea.

The Suite A&B, the largest bedroom in the house, and Inès and Olivia's room, the children's room. They share a large bathroom with a sea view, a bath for the grown-ups, a small baby bath, and a toilet.
