The guide

Doëlan and South Finistère, with children

What we do with our daughters around the house, summer and winter.

The area

One of the most charming corners of Brittany

From Paris, the train takes you to Quimperlé or Lorient, then a short drive along the coast brings you to the little harbour of Doëlan. The GR34 coastal path runs right past the house: a few minutes' walk away are almost private coves, and the green lighthouse is just down the road.

The big sandy beaches are a few minutes by car, with surf and sailing schools, tennis and a riding centre. The galleries of Pont-Aven are 20 minutes away, two golf courses less than 30 minutes, and Lorient with its sailing museum 30 minutes.
